改革后的新SAT写作由必考改为选考，若所申请的学校没有写作分数的要求，则可以不考。而且由先考的部分变成结尾考的部分，位于阅读，语法，数学之后，要求考生在50分钟内首先阅读一篇650-750字的阅读文本，然后再分析文章中文本的论证方式。

 

　　虽说写作重在积累和练习，但是要瞅着12月结尾一场SAT没几天了，做什么最有用呢?下面为大家准备了写作思路和高分模板，预祝大家考试顺利!

　　临考4步答题思路

　　靠前步

　　读懂文章，分段落，找修辞手法。

　　第二步

　　写开头 (作者写作意图+文章主旨+写作手法罗列)

　　1)介绍作者的写作意图;

　　2)简述文章主旨，比较好在写作中能提及作者和文章标题;

　　3)罗列作者在论证主题时，最相关的论据/理由/最能体现体裁或者比较有说服力的元素。

　　第三步

　　按文章逻辑顺序分析写作手法，每段都有一句主旨中心句，以及一段详细的论证。

　　1)引用文章中的论证内容用于自己的写作;

　　2)在写作中解释它是什么，它的作用以及文中它有何种意义;

　　3)从逻辑层面，分析该手法对文章的影响;

　　4)从情感层面，分析该手法对读者的影响。

　　第四步

　　重述文章主旨+主题。

　　SAT写作不需要体现深刻内涵的想法，我们只需要能用自己的话语转述如下内容：

　　1)阅读文章的中心思想;

　　2)作者运用的论证手法;

　　3)如果时间有余，还可以再罗列一下作者采用该论证手法的目的及其使用效果。

　　新SAT写作文章框架

　　首段是Intro段，本段清楚地表达作者的观点。

　　支撑段为body paragraph段。每个bodyparagraph段有个中心的claim和相应的evidence. Evidence 包括：facts事实，credible sources可靠信息来源，examples例子。在支撑段中会用到很多修辞手法，常见的有：metaphor暗喻，appeal to emotion诉诸情感，comparison/contrast比较对比， word choice词汇选择，repetition重复，propaganda夸大宣传。

　　结尾段是conclusion段，深化作者的argument。

 

　　新SAT写作模板例证

　　Example 1 (from OG)

　　首段：In response to our world’s growing reliance on artificial light,writer Paul Bogard argues that natural darkness should be preserved in hisarticle “Let There Be Dark”. He effectively builds his argument by using apersonal anecdote, allusions to art and history, and rhetorical questions. (结尾一句即为thesisstatement)

　　Body paragraph 1: Bogard starts his articleoff by recounting a personal story – a summer spent on a Minnesota lake wherethere was “woods so dark that his hands disappeared before his eyes”

　　Body paragraph 2: Bogard’s argument is alsofurthered by his use of allusion to …

　　Body paragraph 3: Finally, Bogard makessubtle yet efficient use of rhetorical questioning to persuade his audiencethat natural darkness preservation is essential.

　　从以上model中，我们可以看出body paragraph按照introduction列出的三点进行一一分析，并在句式上有一些变化。

　　Body paragraph 1. In an attempt to … theauthor utilizes clever euphemisms and carefully selected word to describe …(careful word choice)
