雅思口语考试Part 1一开始，考官往往会从三个必考话题中选取一个进行提问，而“学习或工作”就是其中之一。比如考官会通过问 “Do you work or are you a student？”来确认考生的情况，然后再根据考生的回答，进行拓展提问。

如果考生一开始回答该问题时答案比较简短，是完全可以接受的。但对于同一个话题中的其他相关问题，还是建议考生进行适当的细节补充。比如可以说明工作的具体性质和内容，学某个科目和专业日常要做什么，或者为什么选择这个工作和专业等内容。

1 Do you work or are you a student?

示例回答

Currently I am a student and I am studying at Peking Normal University,but as it's the summer holiday I'm not actually attending any classes.I'm studying at home,going out with friends,and doing a bit of part-time work tutoring a friend of a nephew a few evenings each week.

同时在考官没有问到相关问题时，也可以简单说明为什么选择了这个专业，这些都是符合题目要求的拓展。

I chose the subject because I have both an interest in and an aptitude for things related to engineering.

I am good at maths.I'm fascinated by urban design and development.Also my father worked in the field until he retired,and he inspired me.

4 Do you think it's important to choose a subject you like?

示例回答

I think it's important to some extent,yes.I don't think a person should choose a subject that they strongly dislike,but also you can never like everything about the subject you choose-there's always going to be modules and courses you don't like so much.But generally,yes,I think it's important.
