雅思写作考试有两道题。在第一题中，学术类考生必须根据图标或一些数据，把有关内容写成一段文字。培训类考生需要针对一个问题，写一封信索取信息或说明情况。因此本章分为三部分，第一、二部分针对学术类写作，第三部分针对培训类写作。
