如何把一篇听力彻底消化并运用到口语中来?

很多同学在回答口语问题的时候都会有一个问题:总是会纠结使用一些词汇或者表达,一些简单的想法很难脱口而出。

 

 

事实上,听说读写四项技能一直是互相影响的。因此在学习雅思听说基础的过程中,把听力材料加以整合学习作为的口语素材是很有效的学习方式。

 

在听懂并消化好我们听力材料的基础上,充分的运用当中的一些地道词汇和表达,不仅能加深你对每个话题的观点还能丰富自己的表达。

 

可以参考一下三个步骤:

1.找一篇合适的听力文章 (难度适中,能听懂80%,生词不需过多)

2.听多次,可以进行影子跟读,熟悉材料

3.整合一些固定表达,尝试运用在相关话题的口语问题中

 

以某个运动话题的听力材料为例:

Fitness Plan

Elena:I’m really tired

Toms:Do you want to feel less stressed, less tired?

Elena: Of course, but how?

Toms: believe it or not, there is one thing that can help you do all of this.

Elena: What is it?

Toms: That is regular physical activity. You can make your personal fitness plan.

Elena: I don’t really have time?

Toms: No time! People always say that. But… you know. You can try shorter periods of activity throughout the day such as walking three times a day for ten minutes each time.

How do you release your stress?

Well, one thing that can help me to relax is regular physical activity. Like swimming and jogging. When I was busy, I would try shorter periods of activity such as walking three times a day for ten minutes each time.

 

 

Elena: I always feel too tired to do anything.Toms: Too tired? You know.It’s lack of exercise that makes you feel tired. Exercise can give you energy.

Elena: I think I will have a try and see if that works. What should I do first?

Toms: No one can prescribe their perfect fitness plan for you. You have to figure out what you enjoy doing and what you will continue to do. A good fitness plan has three parts based on aerobic fitness, muscle strengthening and flexibility.

Elena: What’s aerobic fitness?

Toms: Aerobic conditioning improves the function of your heart and lungs. The purpose of aerobic conditioning is to increase the amount of oxygen that is delivered to your muscles, which allows them to do more work.

lack of exercise:运动不足,缺少锻炼

 

同样的表达其实对于有些不同的问题都是适用的。

Why do people do sports?

I think that most people do sports for keeping healthy. For example,doing some aerobic exercise can improve their function of heart and lungs, which may allow them to do more work.

What’s your favorite sport?

What do you usually do in your free time?

示例1:

Well, Maybe doing some aerobic fitness such as yoga and jogging because it is effective for losing weight. Moreover, you know it can improve the function of heart and lungs, which may allow me to do more work.

示例2:

Well, Maybe doing some aerobic fitness such as yoga and jogging. Several years ago, I seldom do exercise and I always found myself too tired to do anything. Later on, I realized that it is lack of exercise that makes me feel tired. Since then, I would do sports as long as I have some free time and it can always give me energy.

 

Toms:Well you don’t have to go out to improve your  aerobic fitness. Many activities you do each day raise your heart rate. If you do them regularly and long enough, they will help you become more fit. The following ordinary activities are inside aerobic activity such as sweeping or mopping floors, and taking the stair to your office instead of taking the elevator.

Do you like to do sports?

To be honest, I am not a big fan of sports, I rarely hit the gym to do some sports but I would do some indoor aerobic exercise such as sweeping or mopping floors, or taking the stair to my office instead of taking the elevator.
